Cafe Hillel, near Ben Yehuda in Jerusalem – You can buy your avocado sandwich on the fluffiest bread ever, and water, but when checking out, the pretty Israeli lady will ask, “Do you mind if we charge one shekel for security?”

omigod dont get me started on the bread at cafe hillel… cravings still haven’t subsided for a hillel sandwich on whole wheat bread – if you haven’t had one yet, GO THERE NOW! i miss those waitresses, they’re too sweet… always pay the one shekel, cafe hillel’s security guard is my favourite bitachon in the whole jerus!
