Bush is real tight w/ her and her family. I wonder if she performs a private dance for him, the traditional middle eastern belly dance?

It’s a shame what the extremists have done.

I recently was stopped by a young lady asking me for directions in the city where I was in Canada. Not knowing I said as much, and we went together to find the location, as I was looking for the same place. Turned out she was an Egytian living in Saudi, she had a modern kind of head covering, more of a normal scarf than the whole wrap around thing. She was nice enough, but the whole climate makes it difficult to trust and hang out.

Muffti is confused: Mob, there seems to be a hidden pressupposition behind your question, as in ‘their is some reason to think western assimilation should be forced on Muslims’. Otherwise, why is it an interesting question?

And, yeah, the corruption of values was sort of Muffti’s point in the post.

when they are crossing the line from worshipping as they wish to the abuse of human rights, there’s got to be some violation of the prime directive. The good of the many outweighs the good of the few. For example, let them wear whatever hideous clothes they want and speak any languange they want, fine. But when they are burning women’s clitoris’s off, that’s not just not the same as ritual cirmcumsion. When they are teaching their daughter’s to blow themselves up in the name of heaven, that’s not just a traditional islam value that deserves protection, it’s a dangerous value that threatens the whole world.
