Laya,it is not disgusting, It is not to your taste that is all. I recall when I lived in a development town in the Negev, how these Morrocans used to spit out the Gefilte fish, (where I was living a pubic facility), how disgraceful, a big turn off to me of Israel, so it took me many years to see the good side of Israel, for many years, I saw only bad, such that when I finally was leaving, I would walk around Jerusalem yelling, 25 days!!! when i had my (1 way) ticket to leave, please leave out these silly personal (al taam Vareach) opinions.
we have to get Esther to Israel it can be done, I can provide some funding, G-d willing things are looking up for me. Can’t we organize something, what is she doing wasting away in Margaritaville, I mean the Carribean she should be home for once.

India and Israel should be natural friends.

There are four Jewish communities in/from India.

There are so many Israeli backpackers in India that many villagers assume that Israel must be a huge country, like China or the US, based on proportional representation.

Gefilte fish with curry sauce sounds pretty good, actually. I had gefilte fish with salsa once, and it was quite good. When Polish Jews emigrate to Mexico, interesting culinary things happen.

Gefilte fish is the tofu of fish dishes. No reason it shouldn’t go well with curry.
