Confessional

It is late and I’ve ignored Jewlicious for a few weeks. Just checked in before going to bed and saw the postings about the recent terrorist attack. Makes my heart swell with sadness. I was on a bus coming from Be’er Sheva to Tel Aviv when it happened and the traffic was so bad at the off-ramp, it was clear that something had gone awry. My boyfriend called to tell me, then I told the woman behind me, and she told the woman next to her and I watched the news spread around the bus. Sort of a moment of shock, then a kind of resignation. I don’t get it. Call me naive, but I simply don’t understand all the chaos and hate in the world. Laila Tov.
