LA Mayor to Join Rally for Israel

As the war escalates, Haifa is being targeted, and cities in the north shelter from the rockets, LA’s Jewish commuity has united to create a solidarity event at 5pm today in front of the Museum of Tolerance.
As of last news, LA’s popular Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa; Israeli Consul General Ehud Danoch; Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky; Los Angeles City Councilmember Jack Weiss; and Jewish Federation President John Fishel will participate in the event.
For those of you who don’t know where that is:

I’m really enjoying the first-rate poetry that this conflict’s engendering. Someone should take the lead in planning an anthology.
War and suffering has always inspired great art. Past eras had folks like Goya, and we have this stuff. We’re truly blessed.
