Looking for Some New Furniture?
“Hey honey, you know what would look so perfect in the den next to the flat-screen TV? Hitler’s desk!”
A London dealer has announced that Hitler’s desk is going to be auctioned off, and will likely fetch a smashing and jolly good price of $1M. The oak desk set is from Hitler’s luxury apartment (in the sky) in Munich, and dates from the 1920s, when Dolfie was being groomed for office. (Nice going, groomers…)
Apparently, the set was either acquired from a German furniture store called IKEAhausenbergschaft or from a more generic Nazi office supplies store, Staplezeinkrautenvoneichmann. Prior Hitlerian furniture sales provoked bidding frenzies on fascist online auction sites, like Naz-eBay.
Personally, I’m out of room in my apartment. No room for Hitler’s desk. Sadly.

Looking For Some Furniture With a Past?
You could buy a beautiful eighty-year old oak desk set for $1 mil from a London dealer named Minas Katchadorian via an unnamed American collector. One thing you should know: the original owner was Adolph Hitler. There’s some poetic justice…
That either belongs in a museum or in the trash. I would love to see it heat a Jewish home
. Or an African American home, for that matter.
Or maybe
that delightful-sounding restaurant they were going to open in Mumbai might like it?
But i think it’s very beautyful… old furniture rules:))
