Israel’s burgeoning Yiddish revival is but a manifestation of the Ashkenazis’ embracement of their White, European ancestry. It serves no purpose other than to alienate Israel’s Brown Jewish population. This just gives further credence to the notion that Ashkenazia are aloof and oblivious to the plight of the Mizrahim.
