The West thought the Iranian nation would give in after just a resolution, but now we have taken another step in the nuclear progress and launched more than 3,000 centrifuge machines, installing a new cascade every week.
Brave Iran, facing incredible hardships such as much rhetoric from the IAEA, cryptic comments from world leaders and UN resolutions, pushed onward and forward to, according to unverified reports, reach its goal of 3,000 centrifuges.
One could argue that this is nothing to be happy about, but luckily Iran has promised over and over again that the reactors are there purely for civilian use:
The Islamic Republic of Iran reiterates its previously and repeatedly declared position that in accordance with our religious principles, pursuit of nuclear weapons is prohibited.
You’d have to be a pretty cynical bastard to fret too much after you hear that! And stop fretting too much about the rabid antisemitism. We’ve all heard the ‘wipe Israel off the map’ phrase. But wikipedia assures Muffti that the translations of his speeches are generally ambiguous. One legit translation is that the state of Israel collapses, not that Iran wipes it off. If that doesn’t make you feel more secure, Muffti doesn’t know what will help you other than trust therapy.
