The story of a boy with Cerebral Palsy, his family and a Physiotherapist / Doctor team who helped him walk on his own thanks to the invention of an amazing therapeutic device.

Israel 21c correspondent Leah Stern and I went to the West Bank Village of Halhul, just north of Hebron to meet this plucky Palestinian kid and his family and see for ourselves the results of Israeli/Palestinian cooperation. It aint all bad news over here folks – at least not for Cerebral Palsy sufferers and their loved ones around the world who will benefit from this breakthrough therapy. For people living with Cerebral Palsy, getting quality medical equipment like mobility scooters and wheelchairs is not always easy, so this story offers hope for the future. I also snapped some pics while I was there which you can see by clicking below.

  • I welcome your visit to my city. I wish we see only civilians and enjoy our lives free of Israeli militants.

  • Halhul, I’m sure the Israelis would also like your city to be free of Israeli soldiers. However, Israel has learned, through bitter experience, that without the ongoing presence of soldiers, Palestinian terror attacks take place much more frequently inside Israel. And when the soldiers aren’t there at all, like in Gaza, you end up with many rockets being launched at the Israeli civilians that you want to visit your city. Do you have any ideas for a solution?

  • Those Zionists are just fattening him up so they can take his blood for their matzos…. don’t you read any Arabic news?
