“Celtic” is the adjective of “Celt”; it needs to be capitalized, because it refers to an ethnicity (e.g. as in “Celtic Glasgow”). English lets one use adjectives without a noun though and the ommitted noun will still be “understood”, so to speak.

Why is it the “Seltics” instead of the “Keltics” like it should be?

Any more names you want to call me? You haven’t the slightest clue how to characterize my politics. I actually don’t hold to much in the way of the sort of mentally rigid ideas that cage up your understanding of life. People who don’t live in their parents’ basements (mentally or otherwise) have experiences in life, you know? – and it leads them to learn from the events that unfold during the course of their lives and make decisions pragmatically, rather than according to some radio airwave jockey’s cartoon version of life. It leads them to… well, I’ll put it to you this way: I think you need a girlfriend.

Vulgar has many definitions. See ancient Rome for details. And how the political “liberals” who I think you’re referring to in modern America came to be the ones who are touchy about today’s definition of it is anyone’s guess. But you do tend to be short on explanations.

One last thing – since I don’t owe you anything and your ego seems to be needy enough to find more pleasure in this exchange than would most people would – but I happen to know a few things about Detroit. Yes, the city’s politicians are generally Democrats – as is the governor who’s trying to do the best job she can in the wake of Farmer John. That’s what happens in big cities, where many people live and politicians run on issues that address social policy from a manner that’s less removed from how it affects your average Joe. But you may be aware of something called the automotive industry – without which there wouldn’t be a Detroit today – and because of which Detroit now remains home to brownfields, empty space, deer, abandoned buildings, and… YOU! And the reason for that is because Detroit decided long ago that they were going to be beholden to economic nationalism. Now I don’t know if that’s “conservative” or “liberal” to your ears, but a once glorious, envy of the world industry that made a decision over 4 decades ago to coast on their fumes started making junk. But American politicians focused on buying American – so that we could employ Americans. When the industry finally realized the consequences of what they’d done, Toyota and Honda were on the rise, and Detroit no longer understood how to be competitive in a global economy or, in other words, how to make products that anyone but an American would buy.

Much like the City of Detroit and its automotive industry, no one’s buying what you’re saying anymore. So maybe it fits you perfectly to live there. And if you just post for your own amusement, do yourself a favor – copy the comments you write, save them (or send them to yourself, it really doesn’t matter which) – open them and laugh at your own masturbatory exercise in self-amusement. Because having no pride in whether or not people care what you have to say, or whether you have any impact on them, makes your solo activity a bit less like Bill Clinton’s activities than you’d like to dream them to be. Or do us a favor and just remove whatever metaphorical penis you keep waving at me altogether. No one sucks it as good as you do.

He didn’t become known as The Clenis or Bill Clitin for nothing. The guy’s got skills! You can thank the feminist movement for turning men into metrosexuals. And now they want to know why men cheat, why many career women never fall in love, and where the boorish men went. Well, they’re drinking lattes, cooking flambes, and letting their wives defend them in public. I shudder at the thought of marrying a politician in general, but my wife fighting for power, well that’s going to be lots of fun. Michelle Obama must be really hard to please if it takes a nomination for her husband to make her proud of her own country for the first time. I’d hate to see what it takes in the sack.

Look, if I wanted serious debate, I’d go to law school and aim for the judiciary. This isn’t the venue for that. This is a fun place to mix jokes and politics and I will keep it at that. I’m a Jew after all, humor and debate are part of my genetic makeup.

Vulgar? You liberals sure are easy to offend. Funny, since the Democrat primaries brought out the most sexism and racism I’ve ever seen in politics. Today they’re saying that stating the obvious, such as that Obama is Castro’s favorite is somehow racist. What an upside down world we live in. I wonder if you used the term vulgar about what many of Obama’s supporters have said? Then you shouldn’t be surprised how vulgar it can get.

By the way, Detroit is a fine city, run primarily by liberals, Democrats, and minorities who believe in BLT, and look how great it turned out! Did I mention we have some of the most productive unions here too? I bet you guessed that by now.
