I am a decendant of a Jewish family from Bingen (Nathan). My mom (born Marian Nathan) is probably one of the only pre-Krisllnacht congregants still alive. My family left Bingen after Kristallnacht and eventually settled in the US. I find it interesting that the synagogue was sold to the local wine growers association: my grandfather, Gustav Nathan, was a wine grower and brandy distiller in Bingen and he was a sales rep for the local wine growers. What's within the apartment in question basically is a top floor place which came into existence when the property was converted into a residential building. As for my body parts, I was going to ask Muffti anyway: can CK do that?
