Having been to Sderot twice in the past two months, and both times not experiencing Tzeva Adom, I can certainly relate to not having any idea how I would react. And while I spoke to residents, including visiting with some whose home were destroyed, it brings to mind the Jerusalem “bubble” I live in.

And if we don’t really have an idea, how can someone living thousands of miles away?

this article is heartbreaking on several levels and the worst part is that if it were the other way around there would be a massive outcry for justice.

I was only in Sderot for a few days a couple of years ago (jewlicious.com...), but I will never forget that first rocket that was heading our way. I was terrified. Over the next several days there were other rockets and sirens and it became very clear that life in Sderot was extremely difficult.
