I too approve of tit-for-tat, as long as it involves only humor. Isn’t Steven Colbert’s “corniest” Jewish joke is about the Iranian Space Program invading “Jew-Piter”?

Interesting: According to Wikipedia, "An extreme example of anti-necktie sentiment is found in Iran, whose theocratic rulers have denounced the accessory as a decadent symbol of Western oppression." Don't most Hasidic groups also oppose neckties?

Apropos, “Streit” means “argument”, “disagreement”, “struggle” etc., so there’s a little more irony to that.
