It's not creepy. America was founded upon a deep sense of identification with the same (biblical) Israel which inspired it. And that's why it exhibits such a strong and abiding support for modern day Israel - much moreso than the countries of the commonwealth that never bothered to confront the despotic King George or break with his inbred and ridiculously garbed successors afterward. You guys still maintain a stronger sense of cultural identification with an imperial Britain that continues to internalize a sense of civilizational supercessionism, rather than respect the foundational, Judeo-Christian roots of the Western world that it presided over for a limited time. Its guilt over colonialism in the Middle East must also play a role. If you want some materials on this, just ask (especially the stuff about America). On the Liberty Bell is inscribed the following: Proclaim liberty throughout all the land and unto all the inhabitants thereof. (Leviticus 25:10). Where is the equivalent sense of respect for Jewish civilization as an inspiration for one's own country to be found in Canada? In Britain? In Australia? etc.

Uh, a victory for justice and a victory for two innocent men. The “group” (AIPAC) and the “pro-Israel community” (whatever that is) had nothing to do with the dismissal of the case. In fact, AIPAC fired the two men in order to distance itself from their alleged wrong-doing and there is no such fucking thing as a pro-Israel “community.” Unless I’m just not being invited to the parties.
