Anyone who sincerely acknowledges the facts behind the creation of the state of Israel cannot deny the ethnic cleansing that took place in 1947-8 and continues today. Netanyahu is another example of an Israeli leader who is unwilling to allow basic human rights to the indigenous Palestinians. He follows in a long line of terrorist leaders such as M. Begin, A. Sharon and Y. Shamir and his rhetoric matches their crimes against humanity. Al-Jazeera is unwanted and unpopular in Israel and the US because it asks questions and raises concerns that directly contradict the government propaganda being disseminated in each country. For the Israeli or Jewish readers here, you will know that Haaretz also offers critical reporting that runs counter to official discourse.
