From part of what you wrote it doesn’t appear that you’re very familiar with the facts. To catch up on what you’re missing, please do read my other posts about this sad, hypocritical attempt by artists and authors to undermine and shut down the public presentation of the work of other artists. As you’ll read, ask yourself whether the ideas these protesters and boycotters put out there resemble the POLICY of Fatah, the Palestinian organization behind the Palestinian Authority. I think they do. I can’t prove an actual link between these groups and Fatah, so there may not be one. Then again, I also don’t have resources or credentials to investigate this properly. I did put many links into my posts so any claims I make can be explored personally by our readers – people like you.

We need to be writing letters to the media and the city and provincial politicians to put an end to this funding!

I’m sure that likewise, the protest letter authors and Palestine House can make a public denial of their connection if there isn’t one.

Also, I’m sure you recognize the the history of the Jewish people and the results of conspiracy theories targeting them over the course of centuries, and the totally incomparable history of the Palestinians. Comparing the two is bad faith, don’t you think? I’m sorry that I found the link to Palestine House, but it is there and considering the demonization that comes out of the Arab world about Israel, any organized Palestinian connection to this “protest” letter is meaningful.

The anti-TIFF “protest” letter is a political action ostensibly taken by a group of independent artists. Clearly the entire action has different implications and meaning if, in fact, it was driven by or even if done in conjunction with a Palestinian advocacy group and especially if that Palestinian advocacy group works together with the Palestinian Authority.

Maybe you are confusing irony with deceit sarcasm, which would be a metaphor for somethin’.
