Israel&#039;s lucky that some &quot;churches&quot; support it to the hilt.  Those that don&#039;t have long been home to trendy left-liberalism.  Much of mainline Protestantism, in particular, has long been uncomfortable with the Jewish state and will likely step up its anti-Israel activism (boycotts, etc.).</description>
