Claire Danes on Conan: Tel Aviv is “…the Most intense Party town I’ve ever been to…”

Clare Danes, the star of Homeland, a 24-like show based on the Israeli series Hatufim, was on Conan the other day when the subject of Israel came up. She had been there to shoot some scenes where Israel substituted for Iraq (safer, better shwarma). Here’s what she had to say about Tel Aviv’s night life:

That’s a great observation Claire. It is indeed very stressful in Tel Aviv! Folks stress out over things on a daily basis like “should I get an Americano or a Capuccino?” or “When is that last bus to Holon!?” or “How will I convince the IDF draft office that I am a religious girl now that all those intense party photos of me are on Facebook?” Oh the humanity.

      • I know, I know. You should have said something even more pretentious like “should I get the Boker Tel Aviv or the spinach shakshuka?”

  2. We can hold Conan to his word and get him there – I will look in to this :-)
