That’s Amir Abdel Malik Ali speaking intimately, keeping his voice low, during the UC Irvine Muslim Student Union’s “Israel: Apartheid Resurrected” series of events at the UCI campus. He speaks of hideous conspiracy theories wherein “Zionist Jews” sabotage the Muslims. As examples he points to the attacks on the WTC buildings and he doesn’t just mean the 9/11 attacks. Nope, apparently Jews were behind the 1993 attack as well, but somehow got Muslims to take the fall, according to this nut. Except, that the students in the room are listening intently and quietly to this man. Not only that, but once they discover El Liberdator filming this event, they try to shut him down, kick him out of the talk and then stalk him all the way to his next class where a picture of him is taken.

If this doesn’t get the UCI administration to end these events and to severely penalize the MSU, then they are just as guilty of promoting antisemitism as the man speaking and should be held responsible. This tape is simply astounding. I could understand seeing this kind of talk in a vile dictatorship such as Syria, or in a Saudi mosque, where as MEMRI consistently shows us, this type of fare is common. However, this Muslim leader is speaking on a tax-supported campus in the United States of America in 2007. If he wants to do it on his front lawn, he can do so, but this is public property and there is no justification for having taxpayers enable this kind of hatred because the UCI administrators choose to turn a blind eye.

This is simply incredible.

Update:

Concerned UCI Student tells us where to send reports of campus anti-Semitism:

[email protected] (US Commission on Civil Rights)

I would also send a copy to:

[email protected] (Chancellor Michael Drake at UC Irvine)

University of California President Robert Dynes: click here and send him a note

[email protected] (Steve Schreiner, VP of Alumni Associations of University of California)

And finally, send a complaint directly, using this form, to
Arnold Schwarzenegger, Governor of California and sometime contributor to the Simon Wiesenthal Center of Los Angeles and its Museum of Tolerance.

Seriously, write an email, feel free to link to this page, and send it to these folks.
